Use the Sime Home thermostat system to noticeably decrease your gas bills. The Sime Home units communicate with boiler to ensure the radiators are kept at the correct temperature for the most efficient heating system. For example, if you require 21degC in a room, and the actual temperature is 18, the broiler will provide water at around 40-50degC. However, if the actual temperature is 5degC, the boiler will provide water at 75-80degC, to ensure the room reaches a comfortable temperature in the quickest possible time. This also helps to prevent overshoots, where the boiler provides 80degC water right up until the set point called for by the thermostat is reached, resulting in the radiators overheating the room.
